Emergency & pre-arranged
Boiler broken down? Don’t panic. Josh will get it running again.
No heating, no hot water or a fault code on the display: a breakdown is stressful, especially in winter. Josh diagnoses the fault properly, explains it in plain English, and fixes it with the right part, not a guess.

What’s covered

When to call Josh
- 01There’s a fault code on the display
- 02No heating or hot water, or only one of them works
- 03The boiler keeps losing pressure
- 04You can hear banging, kettling or whistling
- 05The pilot light goes out or the boiler won’t ignite

Can you tell me what my fault code means?
Yes. Try the fault code helper on this site first. It explains the most common codes and tells you what’s safe to check yourself before you call.
Will you repair an old boiler?
If it’s safe and worth doing, yes. If parts are obsolete or the repair costs more than the boiler is worth, Josh will tell you straight.
What if I smell gas?
Leave the property, don’t use switches or flames, and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999 straight away.
