The boiler
The heart of the system. If it’s over 12 years old, needs regular repairs or shows fault codes, it may be time for a new one. If not, a yearly service keeps it safe and under warranty.
Hot water cylinder
System and regular boilers store hot water in a cylinder. An unvented cylinder gives mains-pressure showers, which is ideal if you have more than one bathroom.
Radiators
Cold at the bottom, warm at the top? That’s sludge. Cold at the top? That’s air. Josh fits, moves and balances radiators, and flushes systems when it’s actually needed.
Bathroom
Weak shower, leaking bath or a tired room? Josh designs around your water system so the shower you choose actually performs.
Thermostat
Swap an old dial or timer for smart controls and heat only the rooms you use, when you use them. You can control it all from your phone.
Underfloor heating
Warmth from the floor up, with no radiators on the walls. It’s perfect for extensions, kitchens and bathrooms, and works with your boiler.
Kitchen & gas hob
Sinks, taps, dishwashers and gas hobs. Gas appliances must be fitted by a Gas Safe engineer, and Josh is registered (No. 623048).
Loft tanks
Tanks in the loft usually mean an older regular system. Converting to a combi frees up the loft and the airing cupboard.
Condensate pipe
In a cold snap, this small outside pipe can freeze and lock out your boiler. Pour warm (not boiling) water over it, then reset the boiler.

Who will actually do the work?

Do you work on all boiler makes?
Yes. Josh services and repairs all the major makes. For new boilers, he installs Vaillant and Glow-worm as an accredited installer, which means longer warranties for you.
